SUN PULSE extends Luke Foley-Martin’s ongoing interest in the Sun as both subject and symbol. Evolving from hand-made darkroom prints to moving image, these cubed lightboxes transform static abstraction into living, pulsing forms.

The work continues his exploration of celestial imagery and inner reflection, where unpredictable chemical reactions and video manipulation converge. SUN PULSE considers the impossibility of directly witnessing the Sun, offering instead a breathing echo of light and energy.
